What happens with an odd number?
If the list has an odd number, one team or player sits out each round. The schedule takes turns so everyone gets a rest. For example, 4 teams make 6 games when each pair plays once.

Round-robin schedule FAQ
How many games are in a round-robin tournament?
Let n mean the number of participants. A single round robin has n × (n − 1) ÷ 2 games. A double round robin has twice that number.
What happens with an odd number of teams?
One participant receives a bye in each round. Byes rotate so everyone receives one during a single round robin.
Can I limit the number of courts or fields?
Yes. Enter the number available and matches are assigned to numbered courts or fields and sequential slots.
Does randomizing change which teams play?
No. It changes the starting order, but the finished schedule still includes every pair of teams or players.
