How the weighted raffle generator works
Each valid ticket count becomes a contiguous range of whole-number chances. The browser chooses one position from the combined range, and the entry whose range contains it wins.

Add names and tickets
Type directly into the sheet or paste two columns from Excel or Google Sheets.

Check each chance to win
Every ticket counts once. Use Hide tickets or Hide odds if people should not see those numbers.

Set the countdown and draw
Choose 1 to 60 seconds. Press Draw winner, check the names, then press Draw winner again.
How does this stay fair?
The drawing uses the browser's Web Crypto random source and rejection sampling to choose an unbiased whole-number ticket from 1 through the total. An entry with 10 of 100 tickets owns 10 possible positions, or a 10% chance.

How are weighted raffle odds calculated?
Divide a person's tickets by the total number of tickets. For example, 10 tickets out of 100 gives that person a 10% chance.
Can I paste entries from Excel or Google Sheets?
Yes. Copy a Name column and a Tickets column, then paste them into the first name cell. A Name and Tickets header row is recognized automatically.
Can the same person appear on more than one row?
Yes, but combining that person's tickets on one row makes the overview easier to verify. Separate rows still contribute their ticket counts independently.
How is the winner chosen, and when?
The browser chooses one ticket when you press Draw winner on the overview. The countdown begins after that selection and delays only when the chosen name is shown.
Are names and ticket counts uploaded?
Raffle entries stay in your browser and are never uploaded. They are not saved by default. You can turn on Save on this device or download a backup file.
